Responsible for supporting his crew during wireless cell site construction. Taking direction from the Civil Foreman, this individual will have the ability to build a site based on set of plans, Methods of Procedure (MOPs) and Bill of Materials (BOMs) provided. Candidate must be willing to operate hand tools, power tools, and other construction equipment and machinery on a daily basis in all outdoor weather environments. All duties must be performed in accordance with OSHA and other worker safety standards with keeping high quality, accountability and budget timelines in mind. May assist the CM’s and their crews and the Project Manager within the TEST Communications organization.

Read, understand, and sign company policies (On first day).
Begin and complete 1st aid course (On first day).
Begin and complete RF awareness, BBP, OSHA10 & HAZCOMM courses (On first 2 days).
Acquire and properly operate all hand and power tools (Specialty items are provided by TEST).
Develop and work around electrical components including but not limited to conduit installations, cabling, grounding and various connectors.
Perform form setting and site layout.
Operate heavy machinery safely for compaction and welding etc.
Perform basic concrete carpentry.
Must perform and maintain vehicle and trailer inspections.
Maintain proper inspection of all tools, PPE, equipment and rigging.
Complete JSA/Daily/Hazard form properly.
Prepare materials for daily projects, preps truck and trailer with necessary items to complete scheduled build.
Complete formal and on-the-job training successfully.
Daily reports and vehicle reports
Proper equipment label & assembly
Proper Photos and documentation
Proper load securing for pick-up and delivery.
Proper & safe use of forklift
Material handling & storage
Equipment power and signal connections
Weatherproofing & equipment grounding
Warehouse Storage & organization
Operate all hand and power tools.
Ability to trouble shoot and good interpersonal skills are keys for success in this role.
High school Diploma or G.E.D.
Must have electrical experience
6 months - 1 year experience
Knowledge of wireless communication infrastructure required
Knowledge of radio transmitters, receivers, antennas, and electronic theory and principles preferred
Civil construction background helpful
Ability to use hand tools.
Technical Understanding/Ability
Previous telecommunications experience helpful
Valid driver’s license
Good verbal and written communication skills
Must be available to work any shift
Ability to read, comprehend and carryout instructions.
The ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including overnight(s)
